A flower bouquet is a collection of flowers in a creative arrangement. Flower bouquets can be arranged for the decor of homes or public buildings, or may be handheld. Handheld bouquets are classified by several different popular shapes and styles, including nosegay, crescent, and cascading bouquets. Orchidaceae is a diverse and widespread family of flowering plants with blooms that are often colourful and often fragrant, commonly known as the orchid family. Along with the Asteraceae, they are one of the two largest families of flowering plants, with between 21,950 and 26,049 currently accepted species, found in 880 genera. The determination of which family is larger is still under debate. The largest genera are Bulbophyllum, Epidendrum (1,500 species), Dendrobium (1,400 species) and Pleurothallis (1,000 species). Magnolia is a large genus of about 210 flowering plant species in the subfamily Magnolioideae of the family Magnoliaceae. It is named after French botanist Pierre Magnol. Magnolia is an ancient genus. Appearing before bees did, it is theorized the flowers evolved to encourage pollination by beetles. To avoid damage from pollinating beetles, the carpels of Magnolia flowers are extremely tough. Fossilised specimens of Magnolia acuminata have been found dating to 20 million years ago, and of plants identifiation. Source
Hydrangea is a genus of
70-75 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia (China,
Japan, Korea, the Himalayas, and Indonesia) and the Americas. By far the
greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably China, Japan, and Korea.
Species in the related genus Schizophragma,
also in Hydrangeaceae, are also often known as hydrangeas. Schizophragma hydrangeoides and Hydrangea petiolaris are both
commonly known as climbing hydrangeas. Source
Hibiscus is a genus of flowering
plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is quite large, containing several
hundred species that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical
regions throughout the world. The hibiscus flower is traditionally worn by Tahitian

married or in a relationship. If the flower is worn on the right, she is single
or openly available for a relationship. The hibiscus is Hawaii's state flower. Source
