Fuchsia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees. The first, Fuchsia triphylla, was discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola about 1696–1697 by the French Minim monk and botanist, Charles Plumier during his third expedition to the Greater Antilles. He named the new genus after the renowned German botanist Leonhart Fuchs (1501–1566). Source
'Fountain Gardens' was a garden
promenade attraction on western Sentosa Island in Singapore which opened in
1989. It was located in the Imbiah Lookout entertainment zone. The gardens and
other features were demolished in 2007 for construction of the new Resorts
World Sentosa, a large integrated style resort with new entertainment venues. The
'Fountain Gardens' promenade terminus was at the entry gates of the former Sentosa
Musical Fountain feature, a very large musical fountain grouping of coordinated
individual jets and pools. Source
