The pansy is
a group of large-flowered hybrid plants cultivated as garden flowers. The name pansy is derived from the French word
pensee "thought", and
was imported into Late Middle English as a name of viola in the mid 15th century, as the flower was regarded as a
symbol of remembrance. The name "love in idleness" was meant to imply
the image of a lover who has little or no other employment. Source
Sweet pea is a flowering plant in the genus Lathyrus in the family Fabaceae, native to Sicily, southern Italy and the Aegean Islands. It is an annual climbing plant, growing to a height of 1–2 meters, where suitable support is available. The leaves are pinnate with two leaflets and a terminal tendril, which twines around supporting plants and structures helping the sweet pea to climb. in the Ranunculaceae. Members of the genus include the buttercups, spearworts,
water crowfoots and the lesser
celandine. Ranunculus species
are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Hebrew
Character and Small Angle Shades. Some species are popular ornamental flowers
in horticulture, with many cultivars selected for large and brightly coloured

Lapageria is genus of flowering plants with only one species, Lapageria rosea,
commonly known as Chilean bellflower
or copihue. L.
rosea is the national flower of Chile. It grows in forests in the
southern part of Chile, being part of the Valdivian temperate rain forests
flora. Lapageria rosea is
related to Philesia magellanica,

Dahlia is a genus of
bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native mainly in Mexico, but also
Central America, and Colombia. The stems are leafy, ranging in height from as
low as 12 in to more than
6–8 ft. The majority of species do not produce scented flowers or cultivars.
Like most plants that do not attract pollinating insects through scent, they
